Devil may cry: special edition is an enhanced re-release edition of the greatest hits title, boosted and more bad-assed with a new playable character (dante’s evil twin brother, virgil, with his own unique “dark slayer” fighting style), the new lester enemy, a 20% faster turbo speed, an alternate gold orb save system, new and more balanced diffinculty levels, bloody palance mode pitting danto against an onslaught of enemles, and movie mode for cutscenes.
Devil may cry unfold an earlier chapter in dante’s gistory, before the original devil may cry, to the fateful clash between sparda’s twin sons, devided by the divergence of their chosen paths. The game increses the intensity of games play with a new “style” system, which adds an additional level of depth. Depending on preference, players can choose to use short-range, defensive or evasive play style
